Josi has been going to dog school and is learning how to sit, down, stay and heel. So far the heel is doing pretty good. Today we went in to weigh for our next dose of heart worm medication. Josi weighed in at 56 pounds, up 12 pounds from last month. Over all Josi is doing much better in the behavior department. Josi is the only dog I have ever owned that can open the toilet seat and take a drink. We had to remove the cloth cover so she cannot open it. She is very smart and resourceful. She is fitting in nicely and very at home now. Crashed with interactive toys. What a beauty! Sitting pretty in Momma's chair. Ready for St. Patty's day. Loves to get all the squirrels out of the log.
Josi is a little over 5 months old and 44 pounds. She weighs what Sophie does. We went to the vet yesterday for a flu shot which they require for her Spay surgery coming up on the 15th of January. We have been training hard. Leash walking everyday is getting so much better. Utilizing the e-collar has been a great addition to my training toolbox. I use the sound and vibrate functions and they get the attention I need to have her listen. Josi has been a challenge to train, but we are getting better. She loves to sleep on the floor at night and behaves. She adores Doggyworld and playing with other dogs. What a pose. can get on the bed now. I need a few more toys. I would rather eat the basket than play with the toys
Four Months old and 32 pounds. We had our last shots yesterday the 20th of November. Now that Josi is 4 months old we can freely go to Doggie World. Josi has been learning to run beside me with the bike. She is doing real well. Distractions are still of interest, but she is getting good at it. We do around the block, about 1/2 mile. Josi is nice and tired afterwards. Right now I have to take Josi separate from Sophie. Sophie will not take the lead dog role. We had some upset stomach issues from chews. I am glad that is resolved. She is now on a probiotic that is working well. All in all in all, Josi is growing up nicely. She is into everything when she has energy. Playing with Sophie helps. Now that she is old enough I can take them both to run and play at Doggie World. Josi is 95% potty trained. Yeah! We still have some restless nights which I am not sure the cause is. I will try getting her more tired. Josi shakes, sits, lies down, heals and jumps to command, for treats of cours...
