Every Day is New to Josi

Image
We have had Josi a full week. Our  routines are changed and I so enjoy her. Puppies grow up so fast. I just love to watch them learn new things.  First ride in golf cart. Got to meet all my future friends owners from Doggyworld.  Got our Pupbox today with halloween toys. Tussle in the hallway. Love my bullystick.

Busy 5 Days of Puppyhood

Potty Train Wreck It has been several days of adjusting for Josi, Sophie and us. I have never trained a dog from pee pads to outside, so we are having some adjustments. Josi does use the pads frequently which is awesome. Learning curve for me. Sophie and Josi are starting to play now. All in all, good days and bad. Lucky to have Josi. She is adjusting better to us which warms my heart. Josi does wonderful at night. Last night we only had to take her out 3 times. She does her business every time we go out at night. The day time is another story. Most of it is my fault, not watching her close enough to catch her. Play time Sleepy head Bullysticks so good for teething puppies My pen is a safe place

Josi's second day at forever home.

Oops, a few accidents.  Josi slept very well with us last night. We went out every 2-3 hours and she settled nicely back to sleep. Josi explored her house all morning. We went for a short walk to explore our yard area. Unfortunately it is raining here all day, so pee pads were in use. We had a few accidents since I cannot take her out much due to the downpours. Today Josi ate well, explored and played. She is napping frequently and wants to be with either Elwin or myself. A good second day. She did find herself in our long mirrors. It was cute.  Sophie watching everything Josi does.  Likes her toys, going from one to the other. Such a pretty girl. Bones, yeah!

Bringing Josi Home

September 19, 2020 Our First Day together. We went to pick up  Josi in Brooksville, Florida. Luckily it was a Saturday so traffic was less than usual around Orlando. I could not believe how big she grew in 5 weeks. We drove away with our little, bigger bundle of joy. Josi was stressed and panting quite a bit. We stopped about 15 minutes later to give her water, but she refused no matter what I did. Luckily she was not car sick and traveled nicely with us on my lap. Once home I had her meet Sophie after Sophie went out. They met through the fencing area I have around her crate. That went well, so the two have been feeling each other out nicely, since then.  Sophie is a little threatened and jealous but not growling, just curious. Josi went right in her crate to check out the toys I had for her. She used the pee pad to poop. She peed outside first thing. She is doing well.  Hungry girl. Now what can I get into? Exhausting day.
